A modernist pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Charles H. Cole, born 1908 and active 1930s-50s. He signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling and ©. Screw backs are also marked sterling.
Measure about 1 1/8" long and 5/8" at the widest.
Hand made, you can see very light hammering. They are in a floral design with cascading tendrils. Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition, from a talented silversmith.
A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver cuff links by NYC Mid Century jeweler, Idella La Vista. Tops measure 3/4" long and 1/2" wide. Marked La Vista Sterling on each. Toggles swivel. Well made. In nice condition, have some minor scratches and a little tarnish. A little wear to the black finish. There is a very small deeper scratch near one corner. Classic mid century design.
A vintage brooch from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis in the shape of a stylized flower. Great hammered texture. Measures 2 1/2" long and 2 5/8" wide. Marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. Has a rollover clasp that holds tightly. Very nice condition, has some minor scratches. Quality piece.
A wonderful Mid Century Modern tray with a stylized marlin by Salvador Teran in Brass embellished with brown and blue tiles. Signed on the bottom, Handwrought, Salvador, Hecho en Mexico, 425. Measures 12 3/4" long and 5 3/4" across. Has some tarnish, a few small dings along the lip and a little bit of roughness along the edge. Great mid century look.
A well made pair of sterling silver round clip earrings. Marked sterling and what looks like a partial letter 'b' signature on the back of each. Measure almost an inch across. Clips hold tightly. Very nice quality and interesting design.
A well made modernist bracelet in sterling silver by Kultateollisuus, Ky of Turku Finland. Measures 7" around and 1/8" wide. Has a simple mid century design. Hook clasp. Marked with the flying hammer for the maker, Crown for Finland, 830H for sterling silver, and the marks for Turku and 1971. Nice condition, minor tarnish. Lays nicely on the wrist.
A vintage sterling silver brooch by the noted silversmith, Nancy Sherwood, who exhibited at the Walker Center in 1959 with many of the Mid Century Modernist studio jewelers. This brooch measures 1 3/4" long and almost 1/2" wide. Marked Sherwood Sterling. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. In very nice condition. Has an interesting 3-D design.
A bronze pendant and probably copper chain by Hannu Ikonen of Finland in the iconic Reindeer Moss design. Pendant measures almost 2" long including the bale and 1 1/2" across. Marked Made in Finland on the back of the pendant. Chain measures 27" long and has a hook closure. Nice warm patina. We have the matching clip earrings in another listing. Will combine shipping.
A well constructed, hand hammered abstract brooch in thick sterling silver. Measures 2 1/8" across and 1 7/8" high. Marked on the back mpm and Sterling. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Quality piece.
A modernist sterling silver bangle bracelet with an oval green mottled cabochon. Not sure if it is some kind of turquoise or agate. Signed 925, Peru and what looks like Elias. Measures about 6 3/4" around. Squeeze closure holds securely. Front design measures 1 1/4" long and 1" wide. Has some tarnish and is slightly out of round. Interesting construction. Lays nicely on the wrist.
A lightly hammered sterling silver cuff bracelet. Signed Handwrought in script and sterling. Comes to an angle in the back. Measures about 6 1/4" around with an opening of 3/4". Could be adjusted slightly. Well crafted. Looks lovely on.
A vintage sterling silver brutalist ring with an amethyst cabochon. Measures about a size 7. Marked 835 and with another hallmark that we don't recognize. Probably European. Front measures 1 1/8 long. There is a little wear to the surface of the amethyst. Nice and chunky, looks and feels great on.
A vintage sterling silver modernist ring by Karl Laine for Sten and Laine from Finland. Measures about a size 7 but is adjustble. Top measures 3/4" across. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, Three Crown mark for Finland, 925, Town mark for Turku, V7 for 1974 and Finland. Has KL on the side for Karl Laine. Very nice condition. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.
A vintage sterling silver modernist pendant by Sten and Laine in Finland with a large faceted central crystal. Measures about 1" wide and 1 1/2" high including the bale. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925 for sterling, Town mark for Turku and X7 for 1976. Very nice condition. There is a slight ding to the edge, but may be original. Large bale will accommodate a neck ring or chain. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.
A modernist sterling silver and hammered copper brooch by noted Israeli artisan, Peter Ein-Hod. Marked Made in Israel, ST, 925, 'PH' for the maker's mark, and '15' which indicates sterling silver. Free-flowing design with attached hammered copper pieces. Earlier style 'C' clasp which holds tightly. Measures 2 1/8" across and 1 1/8" wide. Dark original patina.
A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings in the Boomerang or Peak pattern by Hans Hansen, Denmark designed by Bent Gabrielsen. These screw back earrings measure 1 1/4" long, 3/8" across, and are marked with the conjoined HH, 925S, Denmark and style number 432. Screw backs hold securely. In nice condition with minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Well crafted. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A bold, modernist sterling silver ring by the noted Danish jewelry designer, Hermann Siersbol. Currently measures between about a size 7 but is adjustable. Orb measures 3/4" wide and 3/4" high. Marked HS and 925S. Has a few tiny, very faint dings and surface scratches. Sits high on the finger. Great design.
