A vintage sterling silver brooch by the noted silversmith, Nancy Sherwood, who exhibited at the Walker Center in 1959 with many of the Mid Century Modernist studio jewelers. This brooch measures 1 3/4" long and almost 1/2" wide. Marked Sherwood Sterling. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. In very nice condition. Has an interesting 3-D design.

A vintage hand wrought studio sterling silver necklace with a stone drop. Features curved links graduating in size culminating in a greenish brown mottled stone pendant. Measures approximately 19" long. Pendant measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/4" across. Interesting way that the silver wraps around the stone to hold it in place. Clever hook closure that holds securely. A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver cuff links by noted silversmith, Maxwell Chayat. Measure 7/8" across. Toggle findings are marked Sterling and swivel. Marked Chayat Sterling on the backs. An unusual pair of twisted Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver earrings with bronze or copper ends by William Spratling. We have not been able to find another pair in this design. Measure 3/4" across and 5/8' high. Marked on the back of each screw back with Spratling Silver which was used from 1940-44. Screw backs hold securely. Have some tarnish, a tiny ding and minor scratches. Great design. Pre Eagle.

A pair of vintage Mexican Sterling Silver screw back earrings by Sigi Pineda in a modernist, whimsical creature design. Have a polished layer of sterling over an oxidized background for an interesting contrast.

Signed Sigi Tasco in the back of one earring, and Sterling, Made in Mexico, around an eagle mark on the back of the other. Have great detail, and are mirror images.

Measure 1 7/8"long and 7/8" at the widest. Screw backs hold securely.

An unusual pendant by the noted modernist jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant, made of sterling with an amber insert, can be worn on either side for 2 different looks. A rare modernist sterling silver bracelet by the noted jewelry teacher and designer, Adda Husted-Andersen. Husted-Andersen taught in NYC at the Craft Student's League and her work was exhibited as part of the 1946 landmark exhibition, "Modern Jewelry Design" at the Museum of Modern Art. A modernist pair of dangle earrings by Winifred Mason Chenet. According to published reports Winifred Mason Chenet was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler. She believed that each piece should be unique and distinctive.
