A sterling silver brooch #310 by Georg Jensen, in a ruffle design. Measures about 1 3/8" across and 1 1/8" high. Marked Georg Jensen in a dotted oval, Sterling, Denmark, and style #310. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Warm patina, with some tarnish. In very nice condition with minor scratches. Great classic design.

A pair of vintage modernist pierced earrings by the Mid Century studio jeweler, Polly Stehman. These earrings are mirror images so they frame the face. Sterling abstract dangles with two curved gold wires running across at an angle.

They measure 1 1/4" long and 3/4" at the widest. Gold ear posts and clutches. Marked 'polly' and Sterling on the backs. They are in fine condition with minor tarnish.

Nice detail and quality workmanship.

Measures 24" long. The pendant measures 3 1/2" long and 1 3/4" across. Signed UNI D-A Norway, Bronse and Design Unn Tangerud.

In very fine condition. Circa 1970s. Spring clasp holds securely.

Lots of movement.

A vintage sterling silver modernist ring by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Reminds us of an abstract spiderweb. Measures about a size 7 but is adjustble. Top measures 1 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" high. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925H for sterling, Town mark for Turku and T7 for 1972. Very nice condition. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A great, early copper and silver metal cuff bracelet by Francisco Rebajes with a large layered stylized fish in the center.

Marked with the stylized Rebajes on the end. Measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Could probably be adjusted slightly. Measures 2" wide. There are some spots, areas of tarnish and minor surface scratches to the finish.

Striking hard to find design.

A vintage pair of sterling silver and onyx modernist cufflinks by Antonio Pineda, Taxco in a checkerboard design. Measure 1" long and 5/8" wide. Marked with the Antonio Crown, Sterling Taxco 925 around Hilda, Mexico, and 970. Has an Early Eagle 3 mark on the side of the finding. Thick silver with an inlaid design. Toggles function properly. They have some tarnish. One of the smaller onyx triangles is not as shiny as the rest. Highly stylized design!

Four overlapping layers of curved sterling with four cascading dangles in a wave pattern. Measures 2 7/8" long including the bale and 1 3/4" across. Signed David-Andersen, Norway, Sterling, 925S. In very nice condition, has just a little tarnish. Comes with a 19" sterling silver snake chain. Would look great on a chain or neck ring. Circa 1970s. Wonderful modernist design.

A vintage hand made pendant depicting what looks like an abstract woman. Bronze or brass. The head is part of the top link so it moves. Suspended from a brass chain. Pendant measures 4 1/2" long including the top link and 3" at the widest. Chain measures 19" long and has a hook closure. Nice workmanship. Very unique item.

A modernist large brooch by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. Made of sterling silver with a wire overlay. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 3 3/4" high. Has a rollover closure that holds securely. Has some tarnish, minor surface scratches and a little extra solder where the wire is attached which is original. Could also be worn as a pendant with a chain through the large loop.

A vintage modernist sterling and Tiger's Eye geometric bracelet. Consists of silver overlapping links with inlaid chunks of stone connected by hinges. Marked inside Hecho en Mexico, style 313 and the artisan's initials which look like a conjoined AC. Clasp snaps securely. Has an interesting safety chain. Measures 6 1/2" long and 5/8" across. Stones have a beautiful golden glow. Well constructed and in very nice condition. Reminiscent of the work of Antonio Pineda.

A modernist pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Charles H. Cole, born 1908 and active 1930s-50s. He signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling and ©. Screw backs are also marked sterling.

Measure about 1 1/8" long and 5/8" at the widest.

Hand made, you can see very light hammering. They are in a floral design with cascading tendrils. Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition, from a talented silversmith.

A vintage sterling silver modernist brooch by well known Polish Silversmith, Marcin Zaremski. Looks like a watermelon slice. Measures 2 3/4" long and approximately 1/2" across. Has a trombone clasp that holds tightly. Marked with his 'eye' logo and intertwined MJZ, m. zaremski, and 925 for sterling. In very nice condition with a few scratches and a tiny bit of roughness to the underside edge, not really visible from the front. Great clean lines and mid century simplicity.

A pair of Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver and Silver Gilt earrings by William Spratling. The marks on these earrings probably date them to 1951-1956.

Measure 1" across and 1 1/8" high. Marked on the back of one earring with the conjoined Script WS and Eagle #65 on the other. Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition. Have some tarnish and minor scratches.

These earrings match the 'Lenguas' necklace pictured on page 93 of "Silver Seduction The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda"...

A sterling silver vintage necklace consisting of 10 bar shaped links and 5 graduated layered shields.

This modernist necklace measures 16" long and 1" at the widest. Has a hand made hook closure that holds securely. There is some minor surface wear and tarnish. Thick sterling, nice contrast between dark and polished patina.

We have seen this same design with Taxco, Mexico hallmarks on the back but this one is unmarked. Lays nicely on the neck.
