A vintage sterling silver brooch with a high domed shaped light brown stone, (probably smoky topaz), cabochon by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulta of Finland. This modernist brooch measures 2 1/4" across and 1" high. Reminiscent of Native American designs. Marked with Kauppi's anvil mark, Sterling and Finland. Has an earlier style trombone clasp which holds securely. Fine condition. Wonderful example of Scandinavian modernist jewelry.

A vintage very large Pal Kepenyes Milagros necklace. Brass with a copper wash on some of the Milagros. Signed Pal Kepenyes in script on the back. Measures about 17" around. Hook closure. Very nice condition. Incredible design!

A sterling silver, heavy key chain and fob by noted American Modernist Jeweler, Paul Voltaire. Features a heavy hammered disk attached to a thick curb chain with a hammered squeeze closure key ring at the other end. Measures 6 1/4" long. Marked Paul Voltaire Sterling. Inscribed Breezy, Xmas 1950 on the back of the disk. Very well made. Fine design.

This print, titled "Low Tide" was in the Museum of Modern Art, New York Exhibition of Color Prints Under $10 by American Artists in 1940. Signed and titled twice, in the print and in blue pencil at bottom. Print is hinged at top of matt. Matt opening measures about 20 1/2" by 14 1/2", overall matt about 28 1/2" by 22 1/2".

A vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet with overlapping triangles designed by Bent Gabrielsen for Hans Hansen, Denmark.

Measures about 7" long and 1" wide. Has an ingenious clasp with a screw that locks in place, very safe.

The brooch measures about 1 3/8" in diameter. Has a bale so can also be worn as a pendant. Signed Olaf Skoogfors on the back.

A sterling silver hand wrought necklace with a central fringe of molten, drippy dangles by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004). The necklace measures about 17 1/4" long, and the longest drop is 1 1/2". Marked Berridge in three places on the back of the drops. There are two hooks on the snake chain that hold securely. An interesting bracelet made of five curved links of layered silver. Bottom layer has a rough finish as contrasted to the top layer's shiny texture. Interesting almost southwestern motif. Also has an Arts and Crafts feel. Looks very hand made, you can see the hammer marks on the back. Marked PANO 975 on each link. Hook closure. Lays nicely on the wrist. Measures 7" long and 1 1/8" at the widest. Great vintage condition, some very minor surface scratches. Very unique item.

A modernist large brooch by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. Made of sterling silver with a wire overlay. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 3 3/4" high. Has a rollover closure that holds securely. Has some tarnish, minor surface scratches and a little extra solder where the wire is attached which is original. Could also be worn as a pendant with a chain through the large loop.

A vintage sterling silver modernist pendant by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Measures 1 1/8" wide and 2" high including the bale. Has a three dimensional design. Marked on the bale with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925 for sterling, Town mark for Turku and U7 for 1973. Also marked on the side 'KL' for Karl Laine. Very nice condition, with some minor tarnish. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A vintage modernist sterling silver ring embellished with 24K gold by the well known Japanese silversmith, Miye Matsukata, whose work was signed Janiye. She attended the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston, afterwards starting a workshop with other jewelers. This ring is in an abstract design, with layers of gold and silver, and contrasting textures and shapes. Measures about size 7.5. Marked on the inside Miye Janiye, Sterling 24K and 81. Excellent craftsmanship. Very unusual design.
