A pair of vintage Mexican Sterling Silver screw back earrings in a Sigi Pineda modernist, whimsical bird design. Signed Cortes, Sterling, Mexico, and the number 8. Birds have great detail, wings and little feet. Measure 2"long and 3/4" across. Screw backs hold tightly. Wonderful condition. Very unusual!

An interesting bracelet made of five curved links of layered silver. Bottom layer has a rough finish as contrasted to the top layer's shiny texture. Interesting almost southwestern motif. Also has an Arts and Crafts feel. Looks very hand made, you can see the hammer marks on the back. Marked PANO 975 on each link. Hook closure. Lays nicely on the wrist. Measures 7" long and 1 1/8" at the widest. Great vintage condition, some very minor surface scratches. Very unique item.

A wonderful Danish Skonvirke sterling silver brooch signed SJ for S. L. Jacobsen. Jacobsen was a silversmith who collaborated with Evald Nielsen, a well known jewelry designer known for his Skonvirke designs. Measures 2 1/2" long and 2" at the widest. Has two green stone cabochons. Marked 830S SJ 830S on the back. Beautiful Arts and Crafts design. Has an older 'C' clasp. Very nice condition, one minor ding near the edge of the top piece. Quality piece. Beautiful classic Danish design.

A wonderful vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch in an Arts and Crafts design. Signed with conjoined 'JM' for Joseph Masaniello, a New York Mid Century Modernist jeweler who was instructed in Arts and Crafts traditions. Also marked Sterling. Measures 2 1/2" at the widest. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds fine. Green cabochon measures 1/2" long. Nice warm patina, very well made.

An important early brooch of sterling silver by the acclaimed American modernist jeweler, Margaret De Patta. Measures 3" long and 1 5/8" at the widest. Early incised maker's mark. Circa 1935. Heavy layered sterling in an abstract floral design. Wonderful condition, with some very minor surface scratches and tarnish. Missing the rollover bar on the clasp. Slight bend on the pin. A similar De Patta brooch can be seen in the Philips de Pury Design Auction dated May 24, 2007, lot number 189....

A fabulous modernist bracelet in sterling silver by Kultateollisuus, Ky of Turku Finland. Designed by Jorma Laine.

Measures 7 1/2" long and 1" across, great for a larger wrist.

Has an intricate very mid century design. Has a slide in pin clasp with a safety catch. Very well made.

Marked with the flying hammer for the maker, Crown for Finland, 830H for sterling silver, Finland, and the marks for Turku and 1970.

Nice weight and condition, warm patina. Great modernist design.

A vintage sterling silver modernist brooch by well known Polish Silversmith, Marcin Zaremski. Looks like a watermelon slice. Measures 2 3/4" long and approximately 1/2" across. Has a trombone clasp that holds tightly. Marked with his 'eye' logo and intertwined MJZ, m. zaremski, and 925 for sterling. In very nice condition with a few scratches and a tiny bit of roughness to the underside edge, not really visible from the front. Great clean lines and mid century simplicity.
