An abstract sterling silver brooch by Modernist NYC Silversmith, Henry Steig. May be a stylized leaf or feather. Measures 2" long and 1" at the widest. Signed on the back Steig Sterling. Rollover safety clasp holds securely. There is an area along the darkened edge that is textured, not sure if that is original or wear. Nice contrast of polished and darkened sterling. Interesting three dimensional feel.

A modernist large brooch by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. Made of sterling silver with a wire overlay. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 3 3/4" high. Has a rollover closure that holds securely. Has some tarnish, minor surface scratches and a little extra solder where the wire is attached which is original. Could also be worn as a pendant with a chain through the large loop.

Classic LOBEL design.

A vintage heavy sterling silver letter opener by Kalo in a sleek modernist design. Measures 8 1/2" long and 1 3/8" across. Marked Sterling, Kalo, and something else that is unreadable. Inscribed 'A A Jr' on one side and 'September 17 1959' on the other. Has some scratches and tarnish. Substantial and fine example.

A pair of vintage Mexican Sterling Silver screw back earrings by Sigi Pineda in a design that looks like hands holding the amethyst cabochons.

Signed Sterling Made in Mexico and design number 257 on the back of one earring, and Plateros Taxco with Eagle #3 mark on the back of the other. Plateros was the first name of Sigi's shop in 1952. He eventually renamed it Sigi. They are mirror images and frame the face when worn.

An amazing piece of mid century modernist hand wrought jewelry. This copper pendant measures 5 1/4" long and 1 7/8" across. The braided leather thong measures about 19" long and closes with a sterling spring clasp. The pendant is signed with an impressed fleur de lis hallmark on the back. Great hammering. There is some tarnish. Fine contrasting of textures, interesting design.

An unusual sterling silver modernist ring adorned with a green faceted cabochon by the renown Israeli jeweler, Rachel Gera. Measures about a size 6 1/2 - 7. A Mid Century Modern sterling and probably rosewood three piece bar tools set from Taxco, Mexico. Each piece is marked with an early Eagle #1 mark and 925, Sterling and Mexico in a triangle around the artisan's initials. Maybe an F or V or A. Hard to make out. A great, hard to find early necklace and bracelet set by Francisco Rebajes in heavy copper. Necklace consists of two strands of woven copper with a leaf at each end. Hooks closed in the front.
