A well made pair of sterling silver and ebony cufflinks by noted American Modernist Jeweler, Allan Adler. Measure 5/8" square. Two of the sides are angled in for a clean modernist feel. Signed Allan Adler Sterling on each. Show a little wear and some minor tarnish. Toggles work fine. Great mid century design.

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch designed by Erling Christoffersen for Norway Designs Plus. Looks like a stylized butterfly. Measures 1 1/2" across and 1 1/4" high. Has an earlier 'C' clasp. Marked with ND, 925S, Sterling and the Plus sign. Has a dark patina but could be polished up if you choose. Some minor surface scratches. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A modernist sterling silver and glass brooch or pendant signed 925, Zilka Hand Made. Measures 4" across and 2 1/2" high. Has a bale so can be worn on a neck ring or chain and a rollover safety clasp to be worn as a brooch. Nice warm patina. Great organic design.

A very well constructed pair of sterling silver and pearl cufflinks by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement. Cufflinks are made from two layers of curved sterling connected at the corners. They have an offset pearl attached to the under layer for a 3D effect. Measure 3/4" square. Toggles swivel. A rare modernist sterling silver bracelet by the noted jewelry teacher and designer, Adda Husted-Andersen. Husted-Andersen taught in NYC at the Craft Student's League and her work was exhibited as part of the 1946 landmark exhibition, "Modern Jewelry Design" at the Museum of Modern Art. This bracelet is made from flattened and curved pieces of sterling silver intertwined with three brownish green oval cabochons. Measures about 6" around with an opening of about 1". This brooch, executed in sterling silver with an interesting marbleized stone, measures 2 7/8" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Marked Sterling, Paul Miller on the back. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches. Very fine example of his work.

A vintage, modernist sterling silver ring designed by Pentti Sarpaneva for Turun Hopea Oy of Finland. Design measures 1 3/8" long and 1" across. Ring measures about a 4.5 now. Marked with the intertwined TH for Turun Hopea, Crown mark for Finland, 830H for silver standard, Town Mark for Turku and date code which looks like L7 for 1964. Nice weight and condition. Great design.

Sterling 'pearls' against oxidized darker sterling background. The pair is in nice condition, with some tarnish. Well made, classic mid century design.

Marked Made in Mexico Sterling, Margot de Taxco and 5417. Also marked with Eagle #16. Screw backs hold securely. Very nice condition. Estate fresh. A whimsical brooch made of one layer of 950 silver and two layers of Faux Tortoise Shell in the shape of a fish. Has silver inlay for the eye. Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 7/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp which holds securely. Marked 950 AR on the clasp. Has some minor scratches and tarnish. Fun design.

She also sold her work directly to high end retail outlets. Brooch measures 1 7/8" across and 1 7/8" high. Marked on the back JoPoL, Sterling and design number 317. Measures 1 7/8" long and 1 5/8" across. Marked Georg Jensen, Inc. U.S.A. Hand Wrought, Sterling. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. A few of the petals are slightly bent. Has a little tarnish and some minor surface scratches. Well made and heavy.

A very cool brooch by Peggy Miller, an American studio jeweler who worked in Baltimore in the 1950's -60's. This brass brooch measures 2" across and 2 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Signed Peggy Miller on the back. The points are curved up giving the brooch a three dimensional effect. There is some tarnish. Great mid century design.

An unusual pendant by the noted modernist jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant, made of sterling with an amber insert, can be worn on either side for 2 different looks. One side has an off center triangular cut out and the other side uses beveled prongs to hold the amber in place. You can see lots of marbling when it is held up to the light.
