A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver cufflinks by American studio jeweler, Ted Lowy. Square sterling with a smaller square corner inlay of bone. Measure 5/8" square. Marked Ted Lowy in script and Sterling. Have some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Toggles function appropriately. Toggles are marked Sterling and with a patent number. Great mid century design.

A sterling silver hand wrought necklace with eight lightly hammered leaf shaped dangles of graduated sizes by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004). Berridge referred to these types of designs as mobiles.

The necklace measures about 16" around, and the longest drop falls 1 3/4". Marked Berridge Sterling on the back of one leaf and Berridge Hand Made on the underside of the hook clasp. The hook closes securely. An extender could be added if needed. This neck...

A rare early, large figural sterling silver pendant by Sam Kramer. Looks like an abstract man, maybe even a pirate. Measures 3 3/4" long and 2 3/4" wide. Signed with an impressed mushroom on the front of his leg. Heavy and substantial. Fine example of his work.

A pair of sterling silver oval brooches made for Tiffany and Company, New York with the original box. Measure 2 1/4" long and 1 1/4" at the widest. Marked Sterling and Made for Tiffany and Co. Also marked with a Maker's Mark, 70, and an etched in 493. They have thicker pins so can be worn on coats or heavier garments. 'C' clasps hold securely. A modernist pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Charles H. Cole, born 1908 and active 1930s-50s. He signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling and ©. Screw backs are also marked sterling.

Measure about 1 1/8" long and 5/8" at the widest.

Hand made, you can see very light hammering. They are in a floral design with cascading tendrils. Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition, from a talented silversmith.

A modernist pair of dangle earrings by Winifred Mason Chenet. According to published reports Winifred Mason Chenet was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler. She believed that each piece should be unique and distinctive. These earrings have a smooth finish on the top and a hammered texture on the bottom. Chenet used some oxidation for an interesting contrast. Measure 1 1/8" ...

Measures 7" long and 1 3/8" wide. Fold over clasp holds securely.

Has the 3V maker's mark, introduced in 1970, also known as the flower mark on the back.

Two Dirk Van Erp Shell Casing Vases from the Mare Island period. The larger vase measures about 6 3/4" tall and 7 1/2" across. The smaller vase measures about 3 1/2" tall. Both show wear and irregularity at top. Good examples of his early work.

A bold, modernist solid sterling silver ring by the noted Danish jewelry designer, Jens Asby. Measures between a 6.5 and 7. Front measures 5/8" wide and 1" across. Marked with the JA in a shield, Denmark, Hand Made and 925S. Has a few minor dings and surface scratches. Feels like you are wearing something special when you have it on! Great design.

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a large triangular shaped bezel set raw amethyst stone by Helge Narsakka for Kaunis Koru, Finland. Active 1954-61.

Signed HN for the designer, National Mark, 916H for the silver purity, Town Mark, K7 for 1963 and KK for the Maker.

Measures 2" across and 1 1/8" high. Minor tarnish. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Pretty deep purple color.

Would also look lovely worn with a converter on a neck ring.

A sterling silver heavy, modernist pendant in a brutalist style possibly designed by Henning Koppel for the Danish silversmith, Niels Erik (NE) From. Have not been able to find any other designer with HK hallmark.

This unusual pendant is made from rough oxidized and smooth polished layers of sterling. Has a large bale so would accommodate a thicker chain or neck ring. Currently strung on a black leather cord.

Marked with the stylized conjoined HK, From and 925S on the back.

A vintage modernist sterling silver ring by David Andersen, Norway. Three balls in an overlapping style.

Measures about a size 6.5 and can be slightly adjusted. Shank measures 1/2" at the widest. Signed D-A, Norway, Sterling, 925S, and scales mark.

In very nice condition, has just a little tarnish and some minor nicks and scratches. Circa 1970s. Wonderful MCM design.

A vintage silver repousse cuff bracelet with a central carved onyx mask. Two silhouettes of Pre Columbian warriors facing the mask which is surrounded by a repousse of an animal with the mouth opened. Measures 6 1/4" around with an opening of 1". Measures 1 5/8" wide. Coin silver or better. Fine condition. Pre Eagle, ( pre 1948).

A sterling silver modernist pendant necklace with a brutalist design by Danish silversmith, Niels Erik (NE) From. Pendant is textured and oxidized and has a layer of gold in the center.

Marked From 925S on the back and also on the clasp.

The central pendant measures about 1 3/8" long and 1" high.

The necklace measures 16 1/4" long in total.

Clasp holds securely. The piece is in fine condition.

Classic Scandinavian design.

A vintage modernist silver necklace with three large charms suspended from a rectangular bar by the master sculptor and artist from Ecuador, Oswaldo Guayasamin.

The central pendant measures 4" across with the charms hanging 2". The chain measures 20" long and slides over the head. The center charm is marked with the stylized Guayasamin on the back. The charms are heavy and solid. Fine condition. There are minor scratches to the rectangular bar.

Interesting piece.

A large, modernist pendant, "Mustang" by Bjorn Weckstrom for Lapponia in bronze with light flame coloring.

Marked Lapponia, Finland and some other marks too difficult to read. Measures 3 3/4" long and 2 3/4" across. Heavy, three dimensional and substantial. Original chain measures 26" long and has the sliding clasp which holds securely. Very nice condition, surface shows some minor scratches and a little wear.

Wonderful example of Scandinavian design.

A stunning sterling silver bracelet with a huge polished curly prong set amethyst by Alfredo Villasana.

The bracelet measures 7" around the inside and 7/8" wide at the back. Measures 2 1/2" across the inside. The front section measures 2 1/4" long, 1 7/8" across and 1 1/4" high off the band. Has a secure box clasp.

Unique hinge where the central design is connected to the band makes it very comfortable to wear.

A mid century modernist pendant reminiscent of the designs of American studio jewelers, Betty Cooke or Frances Holmes Boothby. This piece depicts three cut out birds on a round satin finished sterling disk.

The pendant measures 1 1/2" in diameter. Marked Sterling on the back. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches.

Suspended from a 19" sterling chain that has a secure spring clasp. Marked 925 on the clasp.
