A vintage sterling silver brooch by modernist studio jeweler Ted Lowy, (1919-2013) depicting a stylized man with a top hat, cane and bowtie.

Measures about 1 3/8" high and 1" across. Signed Ted Lowy and Sterling. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has a lightly textured finish. In fine condition.

Fun design.

A vintage sterling silver modernist ring and/or pendant by Karl Laine for Sten and Laine from Finland. May purchase individually or as a set.

The ring measures about a size 7 but is adjustble. Top measures 3/4" across. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, Three Crown mark for Finland, 925, Town mark for Turku, V7 for 1974 and Finland. Has KL on the side for Karl Laine. Very nice condition.

The pendant measures 1 1/4" long and 3/4" at the widest...

A fine, hand wrought modernist sterling silver collar necklace and triangular bracelet by the California studio jeweler, Gerald Stinn, (1937-2019). Thick hammered sterling wires gently curved and flattened.

The necklace measures about 11 1/2" around with an opening of about 3". Measures 1/4" at the widest. Probably better for a slender neck although can be adjusted somewhat.

The bracelet measures about 8 1/4" around the inside, hard to get an exact measurement due to the curves...

These items by noted Vermont jeweler, Luella C. Schroeder, (1918-2004), who worked at the Cranbrook Institute before going off on her own to open a jewelry studio may be purchased individually or as a pair.

The first item is a sterling silver modernist brooch with a layer of three stylized fish on a contrasting darkened silver background.

Measures 2 1/4" long and almost an inch across. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Minor scratches and a little tarnish...

A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings in the Boomerang or Peak pattern by Hans Hansen, Denmark designed by Bent Gabrielsen. These screw back earrings measure 1 1/4" long, 3/8" across, and are marked with the conjoined HH, 925S, Denmark and style number 432. Screw backs hold securely. In nice condition with minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Well crafted. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

An unusual sterling silver pendant in an industrial design with copper inlay suspended from a paperclip style chain. Reminds us of a stylized torso similar to the work of Thomas Mann.

Central pendant measures 2 3/8" across and 2 1/8" high. Three dimensional. The four small cubes have layers of copper inlay for an interesting effect. Very well made. Unsigned.

The chain measures 23" long and has a secure hook clasp. The piece has some tarnish and minor surface scratches...

A vintage heavy sterling brooch depicting a gnarled branch by the noted Maine Silversmith, Condon Kuhl. There is also a sterling pendant in the shape of a Ginko leaf by the same artist. The pendant can be hooked onto the branch and worn together.

The brooch measures 3 1/4" long and 1 1/4" at the widest. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Heavy and solid. The Ginko pendant measures 2 1/8" long and 1 3/4" across. Has delicate texturing on the surface...

A fine, modernist sterling silver ring by the California studio jeweler, Gerald Stinn, (1937-2019). His pieces were sold to major museums and are on permanent display at the Smithsonian Museum in D.C.

A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver Pagoda shaped earrings by Taxco artisan, Erika Hult de Corral. Marked Ric and Eagle #3 on the back of one dangle and 1011 as a design # on the back of the other. Measure 2" long and 5/8" across. Have some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. A lightly hammered sterling silver bangle bracelet by Tone Vigeland. Measures 2 1/2" across the inside and 2 3/8" high. Also measures about 7" around the inner circumference. Slightly oval so easier to slip on. Better for a small to medium wrist.

Marked with the ND and the Plus sign for Norway Designs Plus, conjoined TV for Tone Vigeland, Sterling, 925S and Norway.

Nice weight and quality. Fine condition with a warm patina. Great example.

Curved for a multidimensional effect. Measures about 2 3/8" across and 1 1/2" high. Hand signed © Ruth Berridge, Handmade Sterling on the back. Rollover clasp holds securely. Fine condition with minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. This piece is from her estate. Classic Ruth Berridge design.

A vintage hand wrought modernist sterling necklace with five prong set Hawk's Eye stones.

This necklace measures 17" long and closes with a secure spring clasp. Clasp is marked Sterling.

The pendants with stones drop 2 1/4". The stones are smooth and have blue, green and brown striations. The sterling rectangles behind the stones curl up at the ends.

Well crafted, unique design.

A vintage modernist sterling silver pendant by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulti Oy, Turku Finland. Has a three dimensional Shadowbox design with three curved links.

Measures about 3 1/8" long including the bale and 7/8" across.

Marked with the Anvil, and 925S and Finland on the back. Also looks like there is a stamp 'S1B' which we don't know the reference to. Has some very minor surface scratches...

A vintage triangular sterling silver modernist bracelet from the Jack Boyd studio in San Diego, California. Has flattened corners for an interesting look.

Signed with the conjoined, stylized 'JB' mark.

Measures 2 1/2" in diameter and about 7 3/4" around the inside. Measures 1/4" at the flattened corners. Slips onto my average size wrist easily.

In fine condition with minor scuffs.

Cool, sleek design. Comfortable to wear.

A modernist sterling silver brooch by Johannan Peter who with surrealist Jean Arp and Marcel Janco was one of the artisans that started the Ein-Hod Artist Colony in Israel in 1953.

Two layers of sterling, the bottom has a beveled edge on two sides. The top is a three dimensional flower with leaves.

Marked Made in Israel, ST, 925, 'PH'. Earlier style 'C' clasp which holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches and tarnish. Measures 1 1/2" square.

Fine hand made piece.

A vintage modernist sterling silver pair of earrings by studio jeweler, Fridl Blumenthal. Signed with her Tulip mark, Sterling, style number 115 and FRIDL on each earring. The findings on the earrings are also marked sterling.

Opposites so frame the face when worn. Thick sterling silver with sterling overlay on niello. Earrings measure 7/8" long and 1/2" across. Screw backs work fine.
