A rare sterling silver brooch by Modernist NYC Silversmith, Henry Steig in a fish design. The eye and the 'spine' are layered over the main body.

Measures 2 3/4" long and 7/8" at the widest.

Signed on the back Steig Sterling. Thick sterling, wonderful three dimensional feel.

Rollover clasp holds securely. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Has a tiny bit of roughness on the bottom edge of the mouth and at the top. Could probably be buffed out if desired...

A vintage, modernist sterling silver ring designed by Pentti Sarpaneva for Turun Hopea Oy of Finland.

Design measures 5/8" high and 5/8" across. Ring measures about a 7 and can be adjusted up or down.

Marked with the intertwined TH for Turun Hopea, Crown mark for Finland, 830 for silver standard, Town Mark for Turku and date code U7 for 1973.

Solid and in fine condition. Has some scratches to the band. Great bold design.

A vintage modernist silver necklace with a large central pendant by the master sculptor and artist from Ecuador, Oswaldo Guayasamin. The central pendant measures 2 3/4" long and 3/4" wide. Also measures 3/4" deep. The pendant has a textured front surface and polished sides and back. The pendant has an additional silver squiggle with what looks like onyx beads suspended in front of the textured surface. It moves independently.

The entire central piece is suspended from a linked neck ring...

A vintage hand made Arts and Crafts period hammered silver pendant by Albert Kahlbrandt, (1878-1961), Hamburg, Germany.

Possibly 800 silver, there is a tiny touch mark on the front near the top.

Pendant measures 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked Handarbeit, Kahlbrandt and Hamburg and the number 8. Mark is partially obscured by extra solder, not sure why it is there.

Chain measures 10" long on each side. Has a spring clasp that holds securely.

Fine work.

A vintage modernist silver hand made chain by ORNO, which was an artist cooperative in Warsaw, Poland in the 1960s.

Chain is made up of circles and links and is stamped ORNO and with a lady's face looking right and the number 3 for 800 silver on the clasp.

Measures 15 1/2" long. Has a hook closure which holds securely.

Very intricate design. Looks lovely on.

A vintage modernist silver hand made pendant by ORNO, which was an artist cooperative in Warsaw, Poland in the 1960s.

The three dimensional pendant is stamped ORNO with a lady's face looking right and the number 3 for 800 silver on the bale. The large bale is triangular in shape and would also work with a thick chain.

It has a bezel set purplish brown speckled agate cabochon that measures 1 1/4" long and 7/8" across.

Currently suspended from a sterling neck ring...

A very unique modernist pendant in sterling silver with a small turquoise colored cabochon, reminiscent of the work of Lapponia. Signed with stylized initials that we are unable to identify and 925S for Sterling.

The pendant measures 3/4" high and 7/8" at the widest. Currently on a Mexican sterling silver open ended neck ring. The bale is large enough to accommodate a thick chain instead.

The neck ring measures 14" around with a gap of 2 1/4"...

A vintage sterling silver modernist ring with two round chrysoprase (probably), orbs by David Andersen, designed by Willy Winnaess (active 1950s).

Marked on the inside with the scales mark, D-A, Sterling, Norway, and a stylized W in a circle for the designer.

Currently measures about a size 8, but can be adjusted up or down.

In fine condition with minor surface scratches. Pretty apple green colored stones.

A modernist Sterling Silver bracelet by Ed Levin in an open, overlapping design with a bezel set opal at one end. Hard to find Ed Levin pieces with opal.

Measures 7 1/4" around. Can be adjusted due to the slide nature of the design. Marked © Ed Levin and Sterling. The oval shape makes it easier to expand and slide on.

Fine condition, has some tarnish and minor surface scratches.

A fine, hand wrought modernist sterling silver collar necklace by the California studio jeweler, Gerald Stinn, (1937-2019). Thick hammered sterling wire gently curved and flattened.

Measures about 11 1/2" around with an opening of about 3". Measures 1/4" at the widest. Probably better for a slender neck although can be adjusted somewhat.

Marked Stinn Sterling. In very nice condition with a warm patina.

Quality piece.

A wonderful sterling silver necklace by noted Navajo silversmith, John Begay. He worked at White Hogan in Scottsdale, AZ with Allen Kee and Kenneth Begay.

Signed on the back with the initials JB, the White Hogan Mark, and Sterling.

Measures approximately 15 1/2" around, 1 1/4" at the widest. Hook clasp. Very nice weight, cool modernist design. Slight surface scratches.

Lays nicely at the collar bone. Circa 1950-60.

A vintage hammered sterling silver circles necklace attributed to the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. This example is unsigned, but it is similar to other examples we have had.

Great hammered texture, circles are various sizes. Measures 24" long. Closes with a secure hook clasp.

Very nice condition, has some minor scratches and darkened patina. Nice hand wrought feel.
