A modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by noted mid century jeweler, Sam Kramer. Measure 1 1/2" long and 7/8" across. Have 2 dangles that move when worn. Marked sterling on the back of the screw backs which hold securely. Have some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. These are not signed but are a documented Sam Kramer design. Great example of MCM jewelry.

A vintage 830 silver pendant with a raw amethyst cabochon by Finnish modernist Pentti Sarpaneva. Pendant measures 2" long and 5/8" across. The chain measures about 24" long and has a hook closure. Marked P. Sarpaneva and 830S on the back of the pendant, and has the mark for Torun Hopea, Turku and 1975 on the ring attaching it to the chain. Very nice condition. Great Scandinavian modern design.

A modernist pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Charles H. Cole, born 1908 and active 1930s-50s. He signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling and ©. Screw backs are also marked sterling.

Measure about 1 1/8" long and 5/8" at the widest.

Hand made, you can see very light hammering. They are in a floral design with cascading tendrils. Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition, from a talented silversmith.

A rare modernist ring by Bjorn Weckstrom for Lapponia in sterling silver, 'Birth of a Crater'. This ring is part of his earlier series called Space. Marked with the Lapponia Hallmark, 925H, Finnish silver standard mark, date code for 1969, Sterling and Finland. The front of the ring measures 1 1/2" across. Ring is a size 7-7.5. Very nice condition. Wonderful example of Scandinavian design.

A rare necklace and matching earrings made of alternating Sterling Silver and Rosewood tubes by William Spratling from Taxco. The marks on this set date them to his Third Design Period: 1951 - 1967.

Necklace measures 17 1/4" long. Marked on the back of the box clasp with the script WS and Eagle #30. Earrings measure 1" long. Marked on the back of one earring with the Script WS and with the Eagle #30 on the back of the other.

The clasp on the necklace snaps securely...

A long pitchfork shaped sterling silver brooch by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement.

Made of polished sterling with a central textured piece for an interesting contrast. Measures 4" long and 1" across at the widest. Marked Sterling and Lasnier on the back. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely.

Fine condition. Striking design.

An unusual hand wrought brooch or pendant in thick sterling silver with a brown gemstone bead. Measures 3 1/2" long and 1 5/8" at the widest. Has rods of sterling that are different heights and small holes around the brown bead for an interesting effect. The bar for the pin closure is neatly hidden behind the long bale so it will not show when worn on a chain. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has a little tarnish. Thick sterling, heavy piece. Well crafted.

A wonderfully constructed heavy neck ring by Andreas Mikkelsen, Denmark. Mikkelsen worked with Georg Jensen and designed modern pieces for them before striking out on his own. Streamlined curves, thick sterling, very Mid Century. Marked A.Mik., Denmark, and 925S. Measures 13" around with a 2 1/2" opening. Can be adjusted slightly. Meant to sit on the collar bone. Would be best on a slender neck. Fine condition.

The collar measures about 16" around and has an opening of 2 1/2". The central part measures 2 1/4" across and 2 1/4" high. Marked Sterling Lasak. Has a snake head at one end and the rattle at the other. Lightly hammered and flattened at the turns of the squiggle...

An interesting geometric ring by the Swedish Modernist Jeweler, Isaac Cohen. Has a bark like texture on the outside front surface and a row of four small balls. Marked Cohen and other marks which are hard to read. Looks like V9 for 1971. Isaac Cohen was the owner of Galarie 22, a fashionable jewelry store in Stockholm. Front measures about 1/2" wide. Ring is about a 6 1/2. In very nice condition, well constructed. Looks and feels great on.
