A highly stylized Mexican sterling silver letter opener with a carved green mask, reminiscent of the work of Fred Davis. Marked on the back with an unusually stylized '925'. Measures 6 3/4" long and 1 3/8" at the widest. In very nice condition with some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Nice weight, interesting modernist design.

A sterling silver layered modernist necklace from Taxco, Mexico. Measures 16 1/4" long and 5/8" at the widest. Spring clasp holds securely. Marked on the back with the artisan's initials JC, Taxco, 925, Hecho en Mexico, and Sterling. Pre 1949, pre eagle. Interesting contrast between the darkened and the polished sterling. Lays nicely on the neck.

A very unusual spoon or small ladle by Los Castillo in copper with an amethyst orb. The central flower looks to be silver. Looks like the inside of the ladle is lined with silver. Measures 5 1/2" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Marked Los Castillo, Taxco, Hecho en Mexico. Nice dark patina.

A wonderfully made large sterling silver repousse pendant depicting a Mayan warrior. Measures 2 1/2" across and 2 3/4" tall. Marked on the back, INAH (for Instituto Nacional de Antropologia e Historia), in Mexico City. Also marked Hecho en Mexico, Sterling 0.925 and has the initials of the artisan, JCE. Very heavy sterling, back is also hammered. Comes with a vintage silver 23" chain, not sure if it is original to the piece. Hook closure...

A vintage Mexican silver bracelet in the style of Fred Davis. Measures 7" long without the clasp and 1 1/8" across. Stamped Mexico Silver on one end and etched or scratched into the other is Mexico with what looks like the initials AX. Very nice condition, could use some polishing. Box clasp snaps tightly. Two of the links are backwards, but we'll leave it to the new owner to turn. Pretty greenish blue stones, (turquoise?) are in nice condition with marbling and natural occlusions...

A rare sterling silver ring by William Spratling set with a Shell swirl studded with silver rivets. Measures about a size 6. Dates from about 1951. Marked with the script 'WS' and 925. There is a small loss of shell to the point on one end of the swirl. The other point has a tiny flake to the end. The damage is on the sides so when you are wearing it, they are not very noticeable. The ring has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Very hard to find piece of Spratling jewelry.
