An organic mid century modern ring by the American studio jeweler, Paul Miller. This ring, executed in sterling silver with an Opal cabochon, is currently a size 8 1/2 and can be adjusted up or down because of the open back. Marked Paul Miller, Sterling on the inside. Opal measures 5/8" long and 3/8" across. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches. Very fine example of his work.

A rare necklace and matching earrings made of alternating Sterling Silver and Rosewood tubes by William Spratling from Taxco. The marks on this set date them to his Third Design Period: 1951 - 1967.

Necklace measures 17 1/4" long. Marked on the back of the box clasp with the script WS and Eagle #30. Earrings measure 1" long. Marked on the back of one earring with the Script WS and with the Eagle #30 on the back of the other.

A vintage brooch and matching screw back earrings by noted silversmith Emily A. Day in a three dimensional curled leaf design.

The brooch measures 1 7/8" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. The rollover clasp holds securely.

The earrings measure 1 3/8" long and 7/8" at the widest. They are opposites so frame the face when worn. The screw backs hold securely.

Signed EA DAY, and Sterling at the back of the brooch and sterling on the screw backs. Have a warm patina.

A rare modernist sterling silver bracelet by the noted jewelry teacher and designer, Adda Husted-Andersen. Husted-Andersen taught in NYC at the Craft Student's League and her work was exhibited as part of the 1946 landmark exhibition, "Modern Jewelry Design" at the Museum of Modern Art. A modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet with a sterling wire overlay. Marked Sterling and 'the silversmith', which has been associated with mid century jeweler Ella Cone, who had The Silversmiths' shop in Boston. Measures approximately 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures about 1 7/8" at the widest. Has some tarnish and surface scratches. Nice contrast between the oxidized and polished silver. A sterling silver hand wrought necklace with eight lightly hammered leaf shaped dangles of graduated sizes by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004). Berridge referred to these types of designs as mobiles.

A pair of Arts and Crafts hammered sterling silver bar pins or brooches by the Art Silver Shop of Chicago. Each has a central fresh water dog tooth pearl.

They may be purchased separately or as a pair.

The longer one measures about 2 1/2" long and 1/4" wide. The shorter one measures 2" long and 1/4" wide.

Both brooches are marked on the back with Hand Made, Art Silver Shop, conjoined TASS hallmark, and Sterling.

A great, early sterling silver cuff bracelet by Francisco Rebajes with a large silver wire wrapped glass orb. Marked Sterling, Original Hand Wrought Design, and Rebajes on the back. Measures 4 3/4" around with an opening of 1 3/8". Could probably be adjusted slightly but meant to wear snuggly so the orb doesn't roll around. Measures 1 3/8" at the widest. Fine condition. A decorated vase from Marblehead Pottery in Massachusetts. Designed by Arthur Hennessey and decorated by Sarah Tutt. Marked as shown. Measures about 4 1/4" wide, 3 3/8" tall. Fine design, color, and execution.

A modernist 830 silver ring with a brutalist design from Sweden. Has 5 square shaped cut outs and contrasting textures across the top. The top is a raised disk that sits on 2 arms and measures 7/8" across.

Currently measures size 7, but is adjustable.

Marked with the three crowns national mark, 830 for the silver content and S for the silver standard.

Has minor tarnish. There are two tiny cut marks on the back of the shank.

Quality piece. Fine modernist design.

This is a spectacular vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch by the well known Boston silversmith, Ella L. Cone. Looks like a surreal silhouette.

Measures 4 3/8" high and 1 5/8" at the widest. Roll over clasp holds securely. Marked Sterling, Hand ELC Made on the back. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Reminds us of the surreal pieces by Paul Lobel and Ed Wiener.

Well made, fine quality. The best piece of jewelry by this artist that we have ever encountered.

A sterling silver modernist brooch by Helen Scheier Adelman, (1909-1999), American Mid Century jeweler. This brooch depicts two antelope in thick polished sterling with a darker bumpy surface enamel background.

Measures 1 3/8" tall and 1 1/8" at the widest. Signed Adelman and Sterling on the back. Nice contrast between the darkened rough and shiny layers. Rollover clasp holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches.

A lightly hammered sterling silver bangle bracelet by Tone Vigeland. Measures 2 1/2" across the inside and 2 3/8" high. Also measures about 7" around the inner circumference. Slightly oval so easier to slip on. Better for a small to medium wrist.

Marked with the ND and the Plus sign for Norway Designs Plus, conjoined TV for Tone Vigeland, Sterling, 925S and Norway.

Nice weight and quality. Fine condition with a warm patina. Great example.

A vintage sterling silver hand wrought necklace and matching bracelet with light hammering and angled and curved links. Has connector links made from curved silver with orbs at the ends as seen on pieces by Jack Boyd.

A vintage sterling silver modernist pendant by the Danish silversmith Johannes Larsen, (Skaelskor active 1977-1984).

Has four dangles suspended from a geometric central pendant. The pendant is marked Sterling and J.La. It measures 2 1/2" across and 1 1/4" high. Chain measures 24" long and has a secure spring clasp. The clasp is marked Sterling with some other hallmarks that are too tiny to read. Has minor surface scratches.

A vintage hand made Arts and Crafts period hammered brass brooch by Albert Kahlbrandt, (1878-1961), Hamburg, Germany. Measures 1 3/8" long and 1" across. Marked Handarbeit, Kahlbrandt and Hamburg. Has a 'C' clasp that holds securely. Fine work.

A well crafted pair of large sterling silver brooches by Albino Manca in an Arts and Crafts design. May be purchased as a pair or individually.
