A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by Antonio Pineda, Taxco. Measure 3/4" long and 5/8" wide. Marked with the Antonio crown, 970, and an Eagle 17 mark. 'X' shaped with spinning turquoise(?) beads. Screw backs hold securely. One of the beads has a chip but it doesn't show when it is facing the back. Has some tarnish. Very unique design.

A fine modernist sterling silver geometric link bracelet by noted jeweler Brenda Schoenfeld from Taxco, Mexico. She is the niece of the brothers from Los Castillo and her work is of the same high quality. Made up of six different geometric shaped sterling 3D links. Measures 6 3/4" long and 7/8" at the widest. Marked Brenda Schoenfeld, 925, Mexico and 1992. Clasp holds securely. Has some minor tarnish, and a little bit of surface scratches. Very unique modernist design.

A modernist, heavy Mexican silver and onyx stylized brooch. Reminiscent of the work of Fred Davis. Two layers of silver, (probably sterling or better), with a carved onyx face. Measures 2" long and 1 1/4" tall. Has a 'C' clasp with an additional hand made safety clasp. Pre eagle. This brooch is very well made and has a great look. Simply stunning!

A vintage three dimensional pendant in sterling silver designed by Jose Luis Flores of Taxco, Mexico depicting a stylized figure kissing a nude breast. Flores also worked with Hector Aguilar, Miguel Garcia Martinez and Emma.

Measures 4 3/4" long including the large bale and 2 1/2" across. Marked on the back 925, Mexico JLF, and Taxco. Have also seen this with the additional Miguel hallmark in script. Heavy and substantial. Has some tarnish. Pre Eagle.

An early sterling silver large, heavy brooch or fur clip by Los Castillo in the shape of a flower.

Marked Los Castillo Taxco Sterling Made in Mexico and design #460C. Has a patent number on the back of the clip. Measures 3 1/4" long and 2 1/2" across. Fine condition, some minor scratches to the surface and tarnish.

Heavy and substantial. Classic design.

An early cross brooch in Sterling Silver with Coral, Amethyst and Mother of Pearl by Matilde Poulat. Measures 1 5/8" across and 1 7/8" tall. Marked MATL, 925 and also has an etched 'E'. Has a squiggle of silver attached to the bottom by two rings. Amethyst stone is faceted. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish. Very unusual combination of stones.

A vintage MCM large sterling silver sun brooch or pendant by the Talleres Monasticos Monks who signed their work EMAUS.

This stylized sun measures 4 1/4" high and 4 1/4" across. Has a large bale so can be worn on a thick chain or neck ring collar. Also has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. There is a little pitting on the pin part.

Marked EMAUS 925 and Eagle #3 on the bale. There are also some initials that we can't read. Has a dark patina, we haven't polished it.

A pair of vintage Mexican Sterling Silver screw back earrings by Sigi Pineda in a design that looks like hands holding the amethyst cabochons.

Signed Sterling Made in Mexico and design number 257 on the back of one earring, and Plateros Taxco with Eagle #3 mark on the back of the other. Plateros was the first name of Sigi's shop in 1952. He eventually renamed it Sigi. They are mirror images and frame the face when worn.
