A lapel button from William Spratling's First Design Period, the Continental Solidarity Button. Marked Spratling Silver on the back. Has Reg. 12778 mark on the back also. Measures 3/4" across and 1" long. Missing the little rollover wheel but functions well as a 'C' clasp. Has some minor surface scratches and tarnish. Interesting three dimensional design.

A well crafted sterling silver and amethyst fish brooch. Has a purple amethyst cabochon for his eye. Well hallmarked with Sterling, Hecho en Mexico, 925, Taxco, the artisan's initials LJD, and the style number 2034. Measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Fish appears to be smiling. Great whimsical design.

A pair of Mexican sterling silver and coral screw back earrings by Matilde Poulat in a rarely seen snail design. Marked with the script MATL which dates it between 1934-48. Measure 1 1/4" high and 1 1/2" across. Screw backs hold tightly. Warm, dark patina. Great work from a master silversmith.

A classic Mexican silver brooch reminiscent of one of William Spratling's earlier designs. This large brooch is marked Made in Mexico Sterling in raised letters on the back. Rollover clasp holds securely. The three amethyst flowers are in good condition with minor flea bites and a little roughness to some edges. Sterling has a warm patina. Pretty deep purple stones. Three dimensional flowerpot has a small bend to one of the arms. Measures 2 1/2" across and 2 1/2" tall. Pre 1948. Classic design....

A very unusual sterling silver long necklace with abstract paired links and a central 'apple' shaped pendant by Justo 'CoCo' Castillo, who is known for his CoCo design made for William Spratling. This necklace measures 27" long. There are 15 pairs of unique links of graduated length. The central pendant measures 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Has a fold over clasp that holds securely. Clasp is marked Made in Mexico, Eagle mark, 1 and CoCo. Fine condition, quality piece.

A very cool Bolo Tie by Miguel Garcia Martinez who was the foremost silver designer for Rancho Allegre. Three dimensional- has a small ring dangling from the side. Signed Rancho Allegre, Miguel in script, Sterling, Taxco and the style # 1117. Measures 2" across and 1 5/8" high. Bolo measures 25" around. A little wear to the Niello by his mouth. Minor surface scratches. Great design!
