A vintage modernist heavy sterling silver bracelet by Antonio Pineda, Taxco in the Zig Zag design. Thick sterling links. Measures 6 1/2" around and 1 1/2" wide. Marked with the Antonio crown, ZZ 645, Silver, 970, Sterling Mexico and an Early Eagle 17 mark. Has a box clasp that snaps securely and a safety chain. Sterling has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Wonderful and rare.

A wonderful modernist bar brooch with a braided design by Hector Aguilar. Signed with his conjoined HA, Taxco and 940 for the silver content. Shown on page 150 of Penny Morrill's book, "Silver Masters of Mexico". Measures 2 7/8" across and 1" tall. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. In very nice condition, has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Circa 1940. Great stylized design.

A wonderful pair of modernist sterling silver earrings by noted jeweler Brenda Schoenfeld from Taxco, Mexico. They are made up of sterling ovals with a brutalist overlay and with two tear shaped dangles and a third large sterling dangling bead. The tear shaped ovals make a figure eight when they are suspended in opposite directions. Measure 4" long and 1 1/4" at the widest. Very three dimensional. Marked Brenda Schoenfeld, 925 and Mexico. An interesting sterling silver and onyx modernist brooch or pendant. Constructed similar to the works of Pal Kepenyes. This can be worn with the 'point' up as a pendant on a chain or neck wire or with it down as a brooch. Measures approximately 2" long by 1 3/4" across. Marked on the back with what looks like 925 for sterling and an unreadable maker's mark. Has a safety clasp. Onyx has a slight rubbed area. Great design. Quality work.

A rare hand wrought brooch by Madeline Turner, a New York City Jeweler who worked from the 1930's to the 1950's. She designed jewelry for Georg Jensen USA. In sterling silver with a turquoise oval cabochon. Measures about 2 7/8" across and about 2 1/2" high. Rollover clasp holds securely. Although this brooch is unsigned, we have shown the back of another example with her conjoined MTurner hallmark. In very nice condition with a little tarnish. A wonderful example of her modernist work.
