A sterling silver hand wrought brooch and earrings in a lily pad design with what looks like bezel set moonstones and silver tendrils in the style of Mary Gage. Signed A & L Sterling on the brooch.
A sterling silver hand wrought brooch and earrings in a lily pad design with what looks like bezel set moonstones and silver tendrils in the style of Mary Gage. Signed A & L Sterling on the brooch.
Brooch measures 2 3/4" across and 2" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The screw back earrings measure 1" across and 3/4" high. Marked Sterling on the back of one screw back. They hold securely. The set has some minor scratches and tarnish. There is a little crimping to the edge of the brooch which may be original. The top edge is a little less curved which may also be original.
Have a very hand made feel. Fine example of Arts and Crafts period metal work.
