A vintage bracelet with a central Pre Columbian bird probably from either Ecuador or Peru in 950 silver. The bird has a green stone cabochon eye. There is a layer of red and gold woven material behind the bird. Bracelet has four hinged thick silver chains meeting in the back.
Measures 7 1/2" long and 1 1/4" at the widest. Has a tongue and box clasp with a swing over safety latch for extra security. There is an additional bezel set green stone on the clasp. Marked on the back 950 and with a stylized maker's mark.
In fine condition with very minor wear and a little tarnish. Heavy silver.
Striking unusual design.
