A sterling silver modernist bracelet and/or brooch by Helen Scheier Adelman, (1909-1999), American Mid Century jeweler. May purchase these pieces individually or together.
The bracelet is made from a single long piece of sterling that hooks in the front around a mottled reddish-brown bezel set cabochon. It measures about 7 1/2" around and 1/4" wide. The front design measures 3/4" wide. Signed Adelman and Sterling on the inside. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. The hook closure makes it easy to put on.
The brooch is made from a single piece of sterling that has been split on one side and curled over the other side for an interesting 3 dimensional effect. Measures 2" long and 1 1/8" at the widest. Signed Adelman and Sterling on the back. Rollover clasp holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.
