A vintage modernist brooch with a thick etched sterling rhombus over another open layer by Anna Greta Eker for Norway Designs Studio Plus. Haven't found another example of this brooch.
Measures 2 3/4" long and 2" high. Has a rollover clasp that closes securely. Marked with the stylized ND for Norway Designs Plus Studio, 925S, and A G EKER in script.
Has a little tarnish and some scratches. Some may be able to be buffed out but not where the etching is. Weighs a substantial 28 gr.
Meant to be worn with the point up as a brooch but could be worn at an angle on a lapel. Would work well as a pendant with a converter. Very versatile.
This was very hard to photograph and looks much better in person!
