A choice of two modernist rings by Lapponia in sterling silver, designed by Björn Weckström is available. May purchase individually or as a pair.
The first ring has a lightly textured surface as seen in the Space series. This ring is a size 6.5-7. May be able to adjust slightly due to the open nature of the design. The band measures 3/8" wide. It is in fine condition with minor surface wear.
The second ring is in a folded design with a textured surface. Measures about 7-7 1/2. It is in good condition with some nicks along the edges.
Both rings are marked with the Lapponia Hallmark, 925H, Finnish silver standard, and town mark. The first ring is date coded R7 for 1970 and the folded ring is S7 for 1971. Both rings are also marked Finland Sterling and with the stylized mark BW for the designer. Interesting that the first ring is marked on the outside. It also has additional tiny hallmarks that are probably import marks.
