Choice of a sterling silver hand wrought petite lily pad brooch or pair of pierced earrings with a Jack in the Pulpit floral design by the noted Arts and Crafts jeweler, Mary Gage.
May purchase individually or as a pair.
The brooch measures 1" in diameter. Closes with a secure rolling clasp. Has a warm patina. Marked Mary Gage Sterling on the back. In the lily pad design that she is known for.
The post back earrings measure 5/8" across and 1 1/4" high. Marked Mary Gage once on the back of one earring and multiple times on the back of the other. Appears to be stamped over itself or stamped over sterling. Also marked Mary Gage in the fold.
Looks like one of the posts on the back has been replaced. They hold securely. Have some minor dings and tarnish. There is a little crimping to the edge of the flowers which may be original.
These pieces have a very hand made feel, warm patina and organic design. Fine examples of Arts and Crafts period metal work.
