A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch by Hans Hansen, Denmark, most likely from the 1960s. We have not been able to find another example. Four layers of concentric ovals, slightly curling up at each end. Has some light oxidation between the layers for an interesting contrast.
Measures about 2 1/4" long and 5/8" wide.
Marked with the conjoined HH, 126 for the design number, Denmark and 925S.
Has a rollover safety clasp which holds securely. In fine condition. Thick silver wire, nice weight.
Would look great on a lapel. Could be worn up and down or across. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.
