A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver brooches in boomerang patterns by Hans Hansen, Denmark designed by Bent Gabrielsen. One brooch is also marked with the dotted oval mark of Georg Jensen. Can be purchased individually or as a pair.
A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver brooches in boomerang patterns by Hans Hansen, Denmark designed by Bent Gabrielsen. One brooch is also marked with the dotted oval mark of Georg Jensen. Can be purchased individually or as a pair.
The dually signed brooch measures 3" across, and 3/4" wide. Weighs 13 Gr.
Marked with the conjoined HaH, 925S, Denmark and Georg Jensen in a dotted oval.
Rollover clasp holds securely. Has minor surface scratches and some tarnish. The tip of one corner appears to have been polished.
The second brooch is just marked for Hans Hansen. Has the early script signature, 925S, Denmark, and design number 113.
Measures 3" across and 7/8" wide. Weighs 12 Gr. This brooch also has minor wear and scratches and a little tarnish. Rollover clasp is secure.
They are almost identical with minor differences in size and weight.
