A vintage modernist sterling silver necklace, #285 by Hans Hansen, Denmark, with teardrop shaped gilded dangles. This design is difficult to find.
Measures about 16 1/2" around, the curvature of the long links makes it difficult to get an exact measurement. Better for a slender neck. The drops are 1 1/2" long.
Marked with script Hans Hansen, Denmark, 285 and 925S. Hook clasp holds securely. Weighs 53 gr.
In fine condition with some surface scratches and areas of tarnish. We did not polish it.
Sleek and well crafted. A rare example of Hans Hansen's modernist designs.
