A vintage modernist sterling silver pendant by Erik Granit with two layered lobes that curve towards the center. Made in Finland.
The pendant is marked on the inside of the bale with the conjoined EG logo, Crown, 925, and U7 for 1973. Also marked with 925 again, Sterling and Finland. Additionally it is marked E Granit & Co. Design Jewellery.
Measures 2 1/2" tall with the long bale and 1 7/8" across. Also is 3/4" thick.
Currently strung on a 19" sterling chain that has a secure spring clasp. Clasp is marked 925 and has a conjoined HK.
The pendant has a warm patina with minor surface scratches. Could also be worn on a neck ring. Nice weight, has a substantial feel.
