A wonderful set by Niels Erik From consisting of a brooch with an amber cabochon and matching pierced earrings. Referred to as the 'Atomic' design. Would like to keep the set together, but will separate if someone is just interested in one part.
A wonderful set by Niels Erik From consisting of a brooch with an amber cabochon and matching pierced earrings. Referred to as the 'Atomic' design. Would like to keep the set together, but will separate if someone is just interested in one part.
The brooch is made from 5 intersecting sterling rods with orbs at each end and a central bezel set amber cabochon. Measures 2 3/8" long and 1 3/4" at the widest. Has a secure rollover clasp. Marked FROM 925S. Has a warm patina.
The earrings are made from a 'V' shaped sterling wire with balls at the ends. Measure 2 3/8" long including the hooks and 3/8" across the bottom. Marked FROM 925S and a conjoined 'HK' on the back of the longer piece of each earring. Also in fine condition with a warm patina.
Fun examples of mid century Danish modernist design.
