An Art Deco style silver bracelet from Mexico with seven bullet shaped prong set amethyst cabochons. The stones have some inclusions.
Marked Mexico Silver on the back. Probably 980 which is better than sterling and was commonly used at the time. Measures 6 1/2" long, 1/2" wide and 3/4" high. Box clasp holds securely.
The stones are held in place by long hand made prongs. The stones wiggle a little bit. The clasp has a curled hand made button. Has minor surfaces scratches and tarnish. We did not polish it. One stone at the end has a 1/4" chip on the side. Because it is at the end it is not as noticeable, but if you look closely you can see it. You can see it in some of the photos.
Striking design. Great hand wrought feel. Substantial, weighs 52 gr. Early piece.
