A vintage hand wrought Sterling Silver necklace and matching pierced earrings in a floral design by the noted Arts and Crafts silversmith, Madeleine Turner. She also worked for Georg Jensen USA later in her career. The markings on this necklace indicate that the set probably had some relationship to her years at Jensen USA.
A vintage hand wrought Sterling Silver necklace and matching pierced earrings in a floral design by the noted Arts and Crafts silversmith, Madeleine Turner. She also worked for Georg Jensen USA later in her career. The markings on this necklace indicate that the set probably had some relationship to her years at Jensen USA.
The necklace measures about 19" long with the center design measuring 2 3/4" wide and 2 1/4" high. Closes with a small spring clasp that holds securely but is a little stiff.
Signed with the stylized MTurner, Handmade, Sterling and USA. In fine condition with very minor surface wear and a warm patina.
The matching earrings measure 1 1/4" long and 5/8" at the widest. They are posts for pierced ears. They have a warm patina also. Unsigned.
