Original hand-signed limited edition lithograph in color by Al Hirschfeld (USA, NY, born in MO, 1903-2003). This work from his Kabuki series is titled "Fuji". It is signed in pencil by the artist lower right and is numbered 122/275. From 1974. Al Hirschfeld was an important American artist, cartoonist, and illustrator, best remembered for his Sunday New York Times art and leisures covers.

Original etching in colors by Reinhold H Palenske (American, 1884-1954), circa 1935. This work is signed in pencil by the artist. From an edition of 100. Image size: 9 3/4 by 11 5/8". It is generally known as "Winter Woods". Currently framed. Appears to be in very good condition.

Original carborundum etching with aquatint by Karel Appel (Dutch, 1921-2006). Signed and dated 1975 in pencil by the artist lower right; also numbered 35/50 lower left. The title of this large work is "Night Face in Broadway". Well framed.

Original woodblock print by Kiyoshi Saito. This work is titled "Maiko Kyoto (A)", signed in pencil and on the image, dated 1959, and numbered 34/100. In good condition. Framed but can be sold without the frame.

Large original mid-century woodcut by Davira Fisher (USA, Cincinnati, 1918-1986). This work is signed in pencil by the artist L.R. Dated 1960, titled "Lonely Trees", and numbered 18/100. Framed. Davira Fisher is a well listed African American artist from Cincinnati aptly known for her woodblock prints, often depicting the Mount Adams neighborhood of her city.

This Francisco de Goya etching was published as a frontispiece to the 1922 Delteil edition of "Le Peintre Graveur Illustre". In beautiful original unframed condition.

Original white line woodcut (aka Provincetown woodblock or woodcut) by Virginia Bill (USA, 1865-1960), circa 1930. In excellent condition. Archivally matted and framed. This work is signed by the artist lower right and is titled lower left "Portuguese Jewish Cemetery 11th Street N.Y." This is a view of an ancient Sephardic cemetery in New York, or rather of what was left of it after most of it was destroyed by road construction...

Original drypoint etching printed in two colors by David B. Milne (Canada, 1882-1953). In excellent original condition. Pencil signed lower left. Circa 1929-1930. As issued in The Colophon, New York, 1931. David Milne is an important Canadian modernist.

Complete portfolio of etchings and drypoints by Sigmund Abeles (USA, born 1934). 1969. This is a collection of works produced mostly in 1966 and issued as a portfolio in an edition of 65 plus 10 artist's proofs in 1969 by Aquarius Press. All 13 works signed by the artist. Abeles is an important 20th and 21st century American artist.

Original lithograph by Ira Moskowitz (USA, born in Poland, 1912-2001). Pencil signed by the artist l.r. and titled "Hogan Interior (Navajo)" l.l. 12 1/2" by 16 1/8" image alone. Also signed and dated 1945 in the plate. From an edition of 30. In 1943 Moskowitz was the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and moved to New Mexico where he lived and worked for 7 years. He became a member of the Taos-Santa Fe group of artists. This lithograph was produced during that period.

Original etching by Wendell Black (USA, 1919-1972), started in 1961. Black was still working on this etching when he passed away 18 years later. First edition artist proof, posthumously printed by Berkley Chappell. No lifetime edition exists. Signed and dated "Wendell Black 61 by Elaine" l.r. Elaine was Wendell Black's wife. 24" by 35" image alone. Plate 27 in "The Lost Works of Wendell H. Black" by Henry M. Sayre.

Original diptych (deep etch on zinc) by Wendell H. Black (USA, 1919-1972), circa 1961. 12 1/2 by 23 1/2 each. Titled l.l. and numbered 7/25. Signed and dated "Wendell Black 61 by Elaine". From the first edition of this work, printed posthumously by Berkley Chappell, and signed by Black's widow Elaine. No lifetime edition exists. cf: The Lost Works of Wendell H. Black, plates 22 and 23. The model in this diptych, probably the artist's wife, is also on the cover of the book.
