Antique original lithograph of a standing nude by Julius John Pommer (American, 1895-1945). This wonderful nude dates from the thirties. It is dedicated l.l. and pencil signed l.r. Offered framed. Pommer was born in San Francisco and studied at the CSFA under Otis Oldfield. He was active in the Federal Arts Project in the thirties. Well listed (cf. Askart, Edan Hughes "Artists in California", etc.

Original lithograph by Wendell H. Black (American, 1919-1972) in excellent original unframed condition. Artist proof, printed and signed by the artist l.r. Also titled l.l. An extremely rare impression by a master printmaker. Provenance on request. One of a number of works by this artist currently offered. Please inquire.

Rare early original lithograph by Adolph Dehn (American, 1895-1968), circa 1930. Offered framed under glass. Pencil signed, dated, titled, and numbered 17/30. In very good condition (light paper toning, no foxing or other notable issues). Adolph Dehn was one of the most important American lithographers of the 20th century. (the white streaks on the photos are reflections on the glass.)

Original lithograph on wove paper by Hermann Max Pechstein (German,1881-1955), dated 1917, signed in the plate HMP and dated 1917, and signed in pencil and dated lower right. Image size: approximately 10cm by 16cm. An extremely rare original lithograph by a major artist. Cf: LACMA Collection. Provenance: the estate of a Holocaust survivor in Charlotte NC.

Rare original lithograph by Franz Bernheimer (Germany, USA, Israel, 1911-1997). Signed in pencil l.r. and dated 1958. Also numbered No35 in pencil l.l. Bernheimer was born in Germany. He studied art in Munich and Zurich before WWII. He escaped Nazi Germany and emigrated to the USA via Cuba. He taught at Brooklyn College, at Sweet Bryar College, and eventually moved to Israel where he taught at Haifa University.

Original color lithograph by Jean Charlot (American, born in France). Titled "Mexican Mother" in pencil l.l. Also signed and dated in the plate l.r. and signed in pencil by the artist l.r. Jean Charlot emigrated to Mexico in 1922 where he created woodcuts and lithographs depicting the Mexican people. This work was pulled in Colorado Springs in 1948 with master printer Lawrence Barrett. Morse #520. Offered framed and archivally mounted. Image size: roughly 17" by 13".

Original lithograph by Raphael Soyer (American, 1899-1987), titled "Woman Shading her Eyes". Pencil signed by the artist and numbered 38/50. This work was created for Brandeis University's National Woman's Committee, Gotham Chapter (New York) in 1967. It is #121 in "Raphael Soyer Fifty Years of Printmaking" (Sylvan Cole).

Original lithograph by Ira Moskowitz (USA, born in Poland, 1912-2001). Pencil signed by the artist l.r. and titled "Hogan Interior (Navajo)" l.l. 12 1/2" by 16 1/8" image alone. Also signed and dated 1945 in the plate. From an edition of 30. In 1943 Moskowitz was the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and moved to New Mexico where he lived and worked for 7 years. He became a member of the Taos-Santa Fe group of artists. This lithograph was produced during that period.
