Original Japanese woodblock print by Utagawa Hiroshige (Hiroshige II), from his series "One Hundred Famous Views in the Various Provinces (Shokoku meisho hyakkei)", circa 1860. This vertical oban is signed Hiroshige ga. Published by Uoya Eikishi. Beautiful color and condition. Never framed. A rare print from a series partially based on Hiroshige I's series (Famous Views of the 60-odd Provinces). This particular view by his protege is not based on a Hiroshige I work.

Original Japanese woodblock triptych by Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III) of a Kabuki subject, circa 1852. This work is signed Toyokuni ga and depicts the actors Iwai Kumesaburo III, Ichikawa Saruzo I, and Ichikawa Danjuro VIII in the play: Jiraiya Goketsu Monogatari. 3 oban panels, in beautiful color and condition, never framed.

Original Japanese woodblock print by 20th century master Jun'Ichiro Sekino (1914-1988) circa 1950s. Unusual column format (roughly 28" by 10" paper, 21" by 5" image), extremely unusual subject, signed "J. Sekino" in pencil lower right and numbered 67/100 lower left. In its original frame, not examined out of the frame but apparently in excellent condition. Sekino's woodblocks are found in the collections of most important art museums, including MOMA and the Art Institute of Chicago.

Large extremely rare oversize woodcut by Wendell H. Black (American, 1919-1972). This is a rare proof printed and signed by the artist himself. It is illustrated in "The Lost Prints of Wendell H. Black" by Henry Sayre, Figure 9. Laid down, presumably by the artist, to safeguard its integrity. This work measures 46" by 22". It is titled in pencil by the artist's hand lower left, and is signed and dated lower right...

Original oversized woodcut by Wendell H. Black (USA, 1919-1972). Titled "Artist and Model-Spring II" 7/25. Signed and Dated l.r. "Wendell Black 58 by Elaine". First original edition created posthumously by Berkley Chappell and Elaine Black. cf. The Lost Prints of Wendell H. Black. Roughly 24" by 38" image alone.

Original white line woodcut (aka Provincetown woodblock or woodcut) by Virginia Bill (USA, 1865-1960), circa 1930. In excellent condition. Archivally matted and framed. This work is signed by the artist lower right and is titled lower left "Portuguese Jewish Cemetery 11th Street N.Y." This is a view of an ancient Sephardic cemetery in New York, or rather of what was left of it after most of it was destroyed by road construction...

Large original mid-century woodcut by Davira Fisher (USA, Cincinnati, 1918-1986). This work is signed in pencil by the artist L.R. Dated 1960, titled "Lonely Trees", and numbered 18/100. Framed. Davira Fisher is a well listed African American artist from Cincinnati aptly known for her woodblock prints, often depicting the Mount Adams neighborhood of her city.

Original woodblock print by Kiyoshi Saito. This work is titled "Maiko Kyoto (A)", signed in pencil and on the image, dated 1959, and numbered 34/100. In good condition. Framed but can be sold without the frame.
