Original bronze bust with reddish-brown patina by Emile Pinedo (France, 1840-1916). Circa 1900. This work is titled "Lys" and is signed on the back. It also bears the "Bronze Garanti au Titre-Paris" mark on the base. 17 1/2" high. In excellent original condition.

Large (19" in diameter) slip decorated signed charger or large wall plate by Kirk Mangus (USA, 1952-2013). In excellent condition. Circa 1980. One of three works by this artist currently available. Kirk Mangus was an important American artist and ceramicist.

Original group of four enameled hammered copper panels on the theme of Prometheus by well known Irish sculptor and artist Patrick McElroy (1923-2008). Original marble sculpture by Ruth Ingeborg Andris (Chicago, 1930-2014). 12" high including square wood base, 7" wide. Ruth Andris is known as a Chicago sculptor and artist. She studied at the AIC, at the Chicago Academy of Fine Art, and with sculptor Cosmo Campoli. Her works in stone and bronze were exhibited at the AIC, the Ceres Gallery in New York, the Peace Museum, the Benjamin Galleries, etc.

Large original signed bronze sculpture on wood base by Irma Rothstein (American, born in Russia, 1906-1971). Almost 20" high including base. In excellent original condition. Irma Rothstein was born in Rostoff, Russia, and studied art in Vienna before emigrating to the United States in 1938. She sculpted the busts of celebrities such as George Bernard Shaw, Hermann Broch, Alexandre Gretchaninoff, Ernest Hemingway, etc...

Original bronze sculpture by David McFall, famed Scottish sculptor (1919-1988) created in 1973. Numbered 3/8 (although we believe only 3 or 4 were cast), signed "McFall", and with the foundry mark of "Fiorini & Carney Founders London". In excellent original condition. Original green patina--although much more muted in person than in the photos. Roughly 11 1/2" (width) by 7 1/4" (depth) by 9" (height). Please ask for additional photos if needed. Ceramic sculpture by Michael Andersen, Denmark, circa 1930. 16" long; 9" high. Persian glaze with cracquelure. In excellent condition (one small glaze chip to the toe should be mentioned). Still bears the original MA&S paper label. Also hand incised shield mark with 3 lines (fish) and numbers 4875 II.

Original sculpture (polymer clay over wire) by Robert Lohman (American, 1919-2001). This works is signed "Lohman" and dated 1972 on the base. It measures 23 1/2" in height. Offered in good original condition. Robert Lohman studied at the John Herron Art Institute as well as Cranbrook and Yale. He assisted Carl Milles at Cranbrook before becoming Director of Fine Arts (1947-1949). Lohman also taught at Washington University in Saint-Louis, and at the Indianapolis Art League...

Original and early ceramic sculpture by Dorothy Elaine Robbins (American-Israeli/ 1920-1999), circa 1950, in excellent condition. This sculpture has an incised signature. It measures 17" by 13" by 9" base not included. Ohio born Robbins studied at Cranbrook and at the Cincinnati Academy of Art. Original marble sculpture by Theodor Mallener (Czech, 1892-1978). Mallener is a Czech sculptor born in Olomouc, Czechoslovakia. He apparently spent part of his life in Germany, where he died (Schwabmunchen, Bavaria) in 1972. He is listed mainly in Czech sources. There was also a sculptor named Mallener who worked in Vienna for the Goldscheider Factory in the early part of the century who may or may not be the same artist...
