Ko Kutani "mountain bowl" enameled in yellow, aubergine, green and blue with a mountain landscape. Fu Ku mark. Edo/Tokugawa period. 8 1/2 across, 3 1/2" high. One of two of this type currently available.

Rare antique Persian Kubachi ware bowl or charger featuring two peacocks in a garden and racing horses on its outer rim. Heavy cracquelure as expected in such a piece. 15 1/2" in diameter and 3" deep.

Classic vase by Mashiko artist Murata Gen (Japan, born in Ishikawa Prefecture, 1904-1988). Murata Gen apprenticed with Shoji Hamada before becoming an independent potter in 1954. This work is 8 1/2" high and 6 1/2" wide. Signed with the "MU" character within a diamond. In excellent condition.

Original bronze bust with reddish-brown patina by Emile Pinedo (France, 1840-1916). Circa 1900. This work is titled "Lys" and is signed on the back. It also bears the "Bronze Garanti au Titre-Paris" mark on the base. 17 1/2" high. In excellent original condition.

Old Baule (Baoule) Colonial Period carved wood sculpture of a maternity figure or spirit spouse (Blolo Bla). With elaborate hair and ringed neck. Ivory Coast (Côte d’Ivoire). Pre 1950. Approximately 18” tall.

Large original watercolor by famed Bay Area artist Alexander Nepote (1913-1986). This work is titled "The White Door" on an exhibition label from the Oakland Art Gallery verso. 31" by 38" in its frame. Signed lower right. In excellent condition.

Judith Shahn was Ben Shahn's daughter. She studied with her father and Moses Soyer. Her work appeared in the New Yorker Magazine, Harpers, The Nation, etc.

Original carborundum etching with aquatint by Karel Appel (Dutch, 1921-2006). Signed and dated 1975 in pencil by the artist lower right; also numbered 35/50 lower left. The title of this large work is "Night Face in Broadway". Well framed.

Large antique Native American storage basket, circa 1890-1910. Appears to have originated in the North West United States, presumably Skokomish. Some edge damage, otherwise in good condition. Approximately 13" in diameter.

Original oil painting on canvas by Delos Palmer (USA, 1890-1960). This painting is signed lower right and appears to be dated 1946. Well framed and in excellent condition. Palmer studied with George Bellows at the Art Students League. He is known for his portraits and his illustration work (pulp fiction covers). He also worked on murals in Connecticut for the WPA Federal Arts Project. 25" by 21" in its frame.
