Rare early original lithograph by Garo Antreasian (USA, 1922-2018). This work was created in 1950 in a small edition of 9. It is signed, titled, dated, and numbered (7/9) in pencil by the artist below the image. It is pictured twice and numbered #25 in the catalogue raisonne of the artist's graphic work. This work was drawn on zinc plates and printed by the artist at the John Herron Art School in Indianapolis. It was exhibited in 1951 at the Second International Biennial of Contemporary Lithography hosted by the Cincinnati Art Museum. The influence of Picasso's contemporary lithographs is clear in this early work by an important American master.
