This spectacular couture necklace is not for the faint of heart, but if you want to feel like the black swan, it's the one for you.
Made up of two rows attached to a lucite toggle and ring signed Giorgio Armani.
The top row consists of 15 jet crystal marquise or navette shapes hand strung and knotted on heavy black ribbon. Each navette measures 1 1/4" (3.6cm) by a hair less that 3/4" (2.2cm). The top row measures 17 3/4" (45.5cm) across from the toggle to where the ribbon attaches to the ring (but not including the ring.)
The bottom part of the necklace is comprised of a double row of black shagreen navettes cut off at the top. The upper part of the double row is threaded on more black ribbon with jet crystal doughnut like beads in front of and in between each navette.
The other part of this double row is comprised of 11 more navettes randomly hung from black ribbon with a doughnut jet bead holding the navette in place. Difficult to describe but beautiful in execution. The shagreen navettes are backed with black leather. The necklace closes with a lucite toggle and signed ring.
The necklace is hand-made and is clearly not a production piece. It sits a little above the base of the neck and spreads out around the collarbone
