There's ratatouille to be made with the vegetables in this pin. Eggplant, tomato, green pepper and a radish all combine on this rare, stunning Karl Lagerfeld pin. The matte gold backed pin measures 2 1/2" (6.7 cm) by 2 7/8" (7.7 cm). Each of the vegetables is made of some form of dense resin or lucite that resembles bakelite in its intensity and each is beautifully articulated with great depth ( the green pepper is approximately 1/2" (1.2 cm) at its thickest point.) This brooch is signed on the back with the KL logo. The colors in the first image are accurate, though the eggplant is, in fact a deep, deep eggplant color, not black. It is in pristine condition.
