From around 1980, this Ugo Correani necklace make quite a statement. The necklace is 25 1/2" (66.5 cm) long--opera length. The beads are 5/8" (2 cm) in diameter, and the decoration is 4 1/4" (11 cm) long and extends 1 3/4" (4.7 cm) on either side of the beads. It is signed U. CORREANI on the back of the clasp. Surprisingly, it is not as heavy as it looks, and feels comfortable on. It is in pristine vintage condition. FYI, besides designing under his own name, Correani worked with Versace for a number of years and also designed for Valentino, Chanel, Fendi , Chloe and Lacroix.
