This brooch is gold plated in two different tones and with blue-cut stones, depicts the face of a woman. It is hallmarked sterling.
This brooch was figured in "WWD", June 26, 1942, which said that: " A small collection of exotically styled sterling silver jewelry, chiefly big pins was being introduced by Evans Case Co."

The head is encrusted with tiny seed pearls and a red eye. Great detail. Well loved by it's former owner. There is very slight imperfections in the enamel on the lower body to the left of the front wing and few tiny spots on the wings. Overall great condition for its age.

The 2 socket base is cast iron covered with a felt. There are no hallmarks anywhere that I can find on the shade, the base, the cap.

The open sugar has a mouth opening of 3 1/4", the creamer 2 1/2". The open sugar is 2 3/4" tall, the creamer2 1/8".
They are in good condition.

The cooler measures 17 1/2" including the lid. The outside diameter is 12". This crock, stoneware ice water cooler weighs in at a hefty 41 pounds.
The blue paint is still very vibrant. The gasket around the spigot should be replaced because it has some dry rot. Overall condition is excellent except for one 2 1/4" exterior craze line near the top.
This pattern was product of Harry W. Rhead, and was Roseville's first major success.It has a band cherubs in a wide variety of scenes separated by trees on a light brown background. Several rows of white piping are used to emphasize the rim, base and the band of cherubs. unmarked!
