The cooler measures 17 1/2" including the lid. The outside diameter is 12". This crock, stoneware ice water cooler weighs in at a hefty 41 pounds.
The blue paint is still very vibrant. The gasket around the spigot should be replaced because it has some dry rot. Overall condition is excellent except for one 2 1/4" exterior craze line near the top.
This pattern was product of Harry W. Rhead, and was Roseville's first major success.It has a band cherubs in a wide variety of scenes separated by trees on a light brown background. Several rows of white piping are used to emphasize the rim, base and the band of cherubs. unmarked!

This plate depicts the lull, full of anticipation, before the family festivities- which in Denmark begin on Christmas eve- start.

The little girl has thoughtfully put her teddy bear down where he can enjoy the Christmas trees, while she passes the time looking at a hare, that has come close to the house in search for food. In a few hours the many expectations, talked about for the endless weeks, will be fulfilled.

Her blue suit comprises a tight-fitting short jacket, buttoned at the front, and edged at the cuffs with white; the loose skirt covers her legs abut her brown shes protrude beneath it.
Both pot lids, one larger than the other, are gay-brown: one has a strap, the other a knob. A well-fashioned piece 3.5" high on a rounded natural base 2" across; it is stable with no vulnerable features. This appears to have been taken out of production in 1988, and is not easy to find; The impressed AB is bound on the back of the child's bonnet.
