This is a stunning cast brass Virginia Metalcrafter Louis XVI inkwell and stand. It is 9 1/2" long by 3" tall x 6" wide. We do have the correct inkwell and cap ( also marked Virginia Metalcrafters).

Virginia Metalcrafters 1890-2006 Waynesboro, Virgina. The started out as the Loth Stove Company and later acquired the Harvin Company of Baltimore in 1953. Authentic sand cast reproduction from special bases and alloys along with fine craftmanship and faithful attention to detail were reflected in all items made by Virginia Metalcrafters. These reproductions were as close to the originals in process, construction and finsih as was possible to achieve. VM used the Harvin Trademark. The symbol of the hand molder as well as their own Betty Lamp Hallmark in the production of many accessories such as their leaf trays, trivets, andirons, sconces, candlesticks and other decorative objects. It is no wonder they were sought after by museums, foundations, and historic preservationists to replicate our countries antiques. A list of some of their commisioned museum appointments while in business include: Thomas Jefferson, Monticello Memorial Foundation, Old Sturbridge Village, HIstoric Charleston, Historic Newport, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Colonial Williamsburg Restoration, Mount Vernon Mystic Seaport.

This cast iron "Sunbonnet Sue" or " Dolly Dimple" door stop / bank/ paperweight/ was made by Hubley (Catalogue # 150). It was designed by Grace G. Drayton. It is 7 1/2" tall. The diameter of the base is 3 1/4".

All shipments for small items such as jewelry are shipped first class with delivery confirmation.

We usually ship either the same day or the following day upon acknowledgment of receipt of payment by PayPal. In the event you choose to pay by check or money order, the item will be shipping only after your check or money order clears .

Items are shipped safely and quickly with no extra handling fees. Shipping fees are never refundable.

This Mangus Aase "Rose" cream or bouillon ladle is 6.5" long The bowl is 2 7/8" long by 1 1/2" wide. It is hallmarked K.W.830s Mangus Aase symbol NM. The NM is the generic mark which roughly translates as design copyright. The mark was used from 1876-1953.

Notice the hook on the reverse and that this ladle has a gold wash bowl. It is also hallmarked 18-7-1931.

This sterling souvenir spoon from the Louisiana Purchase Exposition is an official spoon made by Bert Ball (1902).

the handle design is 1803-buffalo hunter-covered wagon,and campfires, train 1903.

The bowl depicts the Festival Hall and central cascades. No description can convey to the mind an adequate idea of the beauty of this wonderful architectural masterpiece designed by Cass Gilbert of New York, Notwithstanding the great size of the building the festive effect is shown in every part. The building was 200 feet in diameter and 200 feet high. The auditorium contained seats for 3500 and a stage large enough for the great choruses of hundreds of voices. The largest pipe organ in the world was part of the equipment.

The spoon is hallmarked sterling as well. The spoon is 5 7/8" long. The bowl is 3/4" wide.
