Lay-Away Items may be placed on Lay-Away at the full listing price (if the item is over $150) by paying 1/2 of the purchase price (see payment terms above) and then paying 1/2 in 30 days. No extra charges are incurred. Please do not ask for lay-away if you are not ready to start paying for it right away. I am unable to hold items until you get your next pay check. (*_*) Just send me a note telling me what you are want to lay away and I will send you your 1st payment amount. You can then either send a check or money order. PayPal is the preferred method of payment. Checks or money orders are to be put in the mail on the same day or within 24 hours. Terms of lay-away

You must send your full name, address, and phone number when requesting lay-away. When payment is received (PayPal is the preferred method of payment), a hold will be placed on the item. If a check or money order payment is not received within 5 business days, the item will be placed for sale again. If an item is partially paid for, and 2nd is not received within 5 business days of due date, the money paid will be forfeited and item will be put back up for sale. No returns or exchanges on lay-away. And once you start a layaway, you can't apply the amount to something else.

This cast iron "Sunbonnet Sue" or " Dolly Dimple" door stop / bank/ paperweight/ was made by Hubley (Catalogue # 150). It was designed by Grace G. Drayton. It is 7 1/2" tall. The diameter of the base is 3 1/4".

GENERAL

The vintage and antique items I offer have had a long and historical life and can show age, or character, depending on your point of view. Unless items are described as mint, please expect age appropriate wear.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING

Payment is due within 3 days of auction end unless other arrangements have been made. Please see item description, or shipping calculator for shipping options and cost. Shipping cost does not include insurance.

All shipments for small items such as jewelry are shipped first class with delivery confirmation.

So.. If you want insurance, please tell us in your email. If you do not choose to buy insurance we cannot be held responsible for loss in transit or if a neighbor decides he would like your package. I do combine shipping whenever possible.

We usually ship either the same day or the following day upon acknowledgment of receipt of payment by PayPal. In the event you choose to pay by check or money order, the item will be shipping only after your check or money order clears .

Items are shipped safely and quickly with no extra handling fees. Shipping fees are never refundable.

All customs forms will reflect the final sales price. Buyers are responsible for all duties, custom fees, taxes, etc.

FINE PRINT, SIZE WEIGHT & PICTURES

I can only ship to the address you have on file with PayPal. All item are sold “as is” condition. Metal may need polishing or cleaning, watches may need to be cleaned. All measurements are approximate. I am not a gemologist, therefore I cannot determine if gemstones are synthetic, lab created or natural. All of my pictures are considered an integral part of the description.

EDUCATE ME

I am a reputable and conscientious seller. I am not an expert in any particular field. I do own a considerable number of books on quite a few subjects. Educate me! I appreciate all the wisdom that can be imparted to me, better reference tools, etc.
