Guest Book

This Victorian Scottish pebble brooch features an oval, scrolled and gadrooned picture frame which test to approximately 9K with 10K acid. (The solution dissolves very slowly the mark on the stone.)

Dating from the late Gerogian early Victorian eras, this agate was mined, polished up and beveled to show off its opaque colors and translucency.

The reverse features a fine working t-hinge and longer, earlier Victorian pinbar with c-clasp. CONDITION: Excellent DIMENSIONS: 3 3/8" X 2 1/2" DATES: 1830-1850
