Beautifully engraved wide 18K gold snake ring with a garnet topped head will make a wonderful statement. Snake rings became popular in England after Queen Victoria received one as her engagement ring and represent eternal love. This snake ring is particularly beguiling with its textured snakeskin and with its quadruple layers really makes its presence on the hand seen and felt. The ring is over ½ inches in height. Garnet was an enormously popular gemstone in Georgian and Victorian times because it was felt that its deep purple red tones best complimented the tone of any woman's skin and created an appealing contrast. The ring is a US size 6 but is somewhat bendable and can fit a 5 ½-6 ½.
