Tibetian Short-toed Sand Grouse (Syrrhaptes Tibetanus) from the "Birds of Asia" series by John Gould. Published in 1850-83 hand-colored lithograph plates from drawings by Gould, Hart, Richter and Wolf. Measuring 21.625 inches x 15.000 inches. Includes text page. This print is marked "J. Gould and H. C. Richter del et lith."

Condition: Very good; binding holes at bottom edge; impurities within the paper; light spots; small 1/4" tear upper left edge (see enlargement #3).
