Clark" - John Heaviside Clark, engraver (fl. 1789-1830). The paper is watermarked "J WHATMAN 1820" located on the binding edge. Includes original text page and photocopy of the title page(s).
Very good overall. Binding holes right side edge. Small amounts of foxing. Small thin spot in the paper located upper right area. There are a few very small marks and or ink spots (one near left-side foot, see enlargement #2.) Off-set staining located on the text page. There is a pressure line near the top that expands from the left edge to the right edge, does not show when photographed (similar to a 'plate mark' or 'impression.')
