Hubregstse-Lanzing was born in Maastricht and died in The Hague. As a young woman, she lived and worked in Amsterdam and Haarlem where she met and married A. M. Hubregtse. In 1914, they moved to Dutch East India where they lived until 1926, then moving to Switzerland (until 1933), Bussum (1933-49) and finally to The Hague. She was primarily a painter of portraits, animals and flowers, although in the Dutch East Indies she painted the dramatic landscapes, so different from her home in Holland.
She was a member of the Artists’ Society in Laren-Blaricum.
