BEAUTIFUL, RARE and Large Murano Cased IRIDESCENT and GOLD FLECKS Art Glass Musical Woman, playing a Double Bass!!! I have NEVER seen a figure like this!!! It is a part of a 3 piece set I recently purchased. Believe it is an ARCHIMEDE SEGUSO piece, circa 1930s - 40s!!! Very classical style. Also similar to Barovier and Toso figures. The woman has amazing sculptural hair which I havent seen before on any figure, looks very curly, and done up in a bun to the side. The face of the figure has a little piece of glass to denote a mouth. It has gold on its hair, collar and waistband of the skirt, and all over the Bass. The instrument itself is so beautiful, with the top of the neck curled and with scroll decoration along each side. It is been repaired at the wrist of the woman holding the bow and re-atached in the middle of the bow. It looks like it was all 1 piece that broke and was easily repaired. Mentioned for accuracy. The rest of the figure is intact. The piece is very heavy made of very thick glass. Please look at the other 2 pieces in the set! There is NO other damage (chips, nicks, or impact marks). In EXCELLENT Condition!!!
