This delicious vintage Mexican silver and amethyst bracelet is ca. 1930s/40s Mexico City piece. The bracelet design is centered around seven generously sized, high domes amethyst cabochons. The settings for the opulent amethyst are equally dramatic with a 3/4" proud profile and open backing to create a beautiful luminous quality to the semi-precious stones. Finishing detailing includes a gem prong setting that adds a sort of art deco feel to the piece, so perfect for its Mexico City origins. The v-clip close on the piece is secure and well incorporated into the over all design. Measures 7" around the interior. Hallmarked for its place of sale, Plateria Alameda Juarez 58. In fine vintage condition with light surface wear. A Mexico City vintage silver treasure that has miraculously survived intact.
