A wonderfulm\, early vintage Mexican silver and turquoise cuff bangle bracelet. Mexico City, ca. 1930s. This versatile, rare piece is full of character, and design interest. Repousse semi-spheres of silver appear in alternating pattern with bezel set cabochons of turquoise. These circular elements joyfully play against a linear design element created by diagonal, lightly etched patterning. The cuff terminals form a kind of dog bone’ detail that we also see in early vintage Mexican silver cuffs by Such well known Mexican silver masters like Sptsling and Hector Aguilar. In vintage condition that reveals a well loved piece with much hysterical and character. A very versatile piece that I like to wear out in the Western United States, or along the beaten and dusty trails of my travels.
